2nd Annual Tour de Farms Bike Tour  
Harvest time signals time for the Tour de Farms Durango Bike Tour. This educational bike tour, sponsored by Healthy Lifestyle La Plata Coalition, offers two routes to choose from: a leisurely 5 mile in-town tour, and a 35-mile route loop out to Hesperus. On both tours, riders will sample delicious, locally grown farm products and will learn about urban and rural farming and gardening, eating seasonally, preserving fresh, local foods for the winter and how to actively support local food and agricultural efforts. At the finish there will be live music and a delicious seasonal lunch featuring Sunnyside Meat’s BBQ, beer and root beer from Carver’s and salads from Turtle Lake Refuge.
